Everyone has the potential to learn Learning includes both academic and life skills Every child has a right to be educated to his/her fullest potential Learning respect for the individual's needs and abilities is necessary in the educational process Schools should produce tolerant, thinking, and productive citizens All school employees should contribute to the welfare of the children Education is a growth process for all involved Learning not only takes place in school, but also in the community, home, and other social institutions, whether good or bad The more people involved, the better the learning process All parents should be involved in their child's educational process All schools should be funded adequately by the state
